we are proud to welcome legendary television writer and executive producer on Get Smart, Leonard Stern. Over the course of his remarkable career, Mr. Stern has written for such classic series as The Honeymooners, Sgt. Bilko, and The Steve Allen Show.

"missed it by that much."
i was fond of the brooding robot character "Hymie" played dry as a bone by dick gautier. he had a recurrent joke-non joke. "my fathers name was hymie." it was funny every single m. f-ing time. thats joke crafting.

I read some of his book on Michael O'Donoghue. Very informative. Not Tennessee Tuxedo's--Perrin's.
