soundtrack of the century: leslie gore 13 now
i came home last night and watched like three of these in a row. more today starting at noon. again john sebastian looks like an interloping fool. i got a lot out of this (esp brill building related stuff) series and there appears to be a big old box set that goes with. they set of the introduction of the beatles with neil sedaka calendar girl and then harped on for half an hour about them writing their own stuff and the impact that it had.
also great moment when four seasons member recalled them all listening to nellie lutcher and frankie valli first kicking in with the falsetto voice.
