It’s true, Tim Conway was not funny. Carol Burnett was not funny. Lame, self-congratulatory middlebrow humor. Supposedly great ad-libbers, their idea of improvising was to blow a line and then break our laughing. Didn’t like it then, don’t like it now.
Carol Burnett sues Family Guy over an episode poking fun at the performer and her variety show from the 1960s and '70s.
