According to someone who works there, the Conchord guys used the HBO voicemail system to send a wacky message to everyone in the company. Ahh, voicemail pranks. Brings back memories of those bygone days of the 80's.

first episode. when the crazy female groupie accosts them while her husband is in the car. you cant see alias but you can see the spanish restaurant across the street.

i didnt think otherwise. the preceding scene involved the writing of the song, the first draft of which was 20 pages long and was a much more conventional "id climb the highest mountain to be with you" type of love song. the bespectacled of the two called him on his overexuberance and the song was whittled down to his enthusiasm for hanging out with the girlfriend and other assorted mundane activities before devolving into sexual fantasy.

me either. it also revolved around the discomfort of bespec guy not taking the hint that threes a crowd.(and that hes #3 not #2) to great comic effect.
