meanwhile, the lakers are looking like a steaming pile of big brown thus far in the finals. maybe coming home will revitalize them. but its over tonight if they cant muster up some urgency.

i think soccer as well as the nba should have more balls and use more field level camera angles. they really under appreciate their most valued asset, the players skills. meanwhile theyve fallen in love with closeup reaction shots on the players faces which add nothing to the action and are often completely without context.

i was watching sweden and greece play on espn at ikea at the merchandise pickup area. do you know that the swedish players and half the stadium were all wearing ikea uniforms ?
funny. the greek squads uniforms do resemble those of sweaty diner frycooks.
ouch. the basketball referee who was implicated in altering games for the purposes of gambling has alleged (to noones surprise) that the league has told refs on more than one occasion in playoff series not to get stars fouled out and also to extend series to climactic and ratings boosting seventh games. sounds like david stern (the nba czar) has his own scott mclellan in his midst.
