Just got a tip on two tv shows. peep show and kroll show.

not the first time youve been tipped off about peep show and not just by me. some dude named bill has a post about them in 2007. i should be inclined to like kroll show though im not particularly enamored with sketch shows. ive liked him as a podcast guest on comedy bang bang for a number of years where he has featured a number of the characters he uses on kroll show. and when i watched the original episode i was impressed with the structure of the show, how the various skits were interlaced, but for whatever reason a number of episodes languished on my dvr and were eventually erased to make space for all the movies i never get around to watching. i could try to parse it out further, but who really cares? his comedy partner since college is john mulaney who has an eponymously named sitcom this fall on fox. mulaney appears on kroll and was a writer on snl. by the looks of the trailer it is awful. it really seems like a parody of three camera/laugh track sitcom from the 80s. i dont know what they were thinking unless the trailer is wildly misdirected. i wonder if you wouldnt like workaholics, bill. has some qualities akin to trailer park where it manages to be smart, on occasion, and lowbrow, often, at the same time. i look forward to your recommendation sometime around 2020.
