just a few minutes into a new series on pivot (??) called fortitude. its taking the bleak environs crime drama to the extremes of the arctic circle (filmed in iceland). great scenery if nothing else and apparently there is something else.
they should have called it foreboding. good start though. among the cast are michael gambon and stanley tucci.
