the final nail in nbcs must see thursday comedy lineup gets pounded into the coffin tonight when parks and recreation ends its run. that it is being aired on tuesday at ten after a two hour episode of the biggest loser should tell you all you need to know. which is probably nothing.

I wound up liking P and R. But we watch it on roku, not in real time. So schedule juggling isn't a factor for the modern man and woman.

i forgot how hip you were to the millennials.

as for the snl list, not as bad as the rolling stone rankings once you hit the top 25 (early on went out of its way to shit on a few not terrible castmembers versus the utterly forgettable) but tim meadows at 11 is an abomination. and tina fey is probably too high. i cant remember her in anything other than the news and sarah palin which was from her post snl days. id like to see a highlight reel of her and poehler though. its not like ive been an avid viewer for a while.

also, hard to believe that martin short/crystal/guest era was just one season.

Eddie Murphy is about as funny as Miles Davis on a good day. can't stand Phil Hartman. There were whole decades I missed without regret. This list is kind of biased to the present. I do look in occasionally, not much in it for me with the musical guests though. arcade fire? That's funny!!!!

not everybody can be as funny as the three stooges.
