just watched the recent release netflix original louis ck 2017. great and a big improvement over the last live show i caught.

havent watched it yet but remember being underwhelmed by the last one, too. watched one of the two chappelle shows. was pretty good. the oj motif one. the other one is supposed to be better. the amy schumer one was bleh. netflix is supposedly releasing one comedy show every week. 

had to bail on Schumer just now.  Now on to Angie Tribeca, so far so good with the Airplane template.

i appreciate the effort on angie tribeca but its just too spoofy. there is a time and a place for it but i havent found it. maybe like 3am or if i watched saturday morning cartoons.

I made it all the way through Schumer, just to watch the train wreck. People in the room didn't sound like they were having fun. I like her work generally, but this was just awful. I watched both Chappelle shows, and enjoyed them. I'm not so sure about CK. I generally really, really like him, but half way through, it's just not up to expectations.
