you and no other people.

funny to see animal house and saturday night fever were the properties tv was eager to ape with their third rate knockoffs as well as bad news bears and smokey and the bandit. was "proud" that i came up with supertrain before it was revealed but a lot of retreads like mrs columbo. was most curious about the husband-wife bodyswitching sitcom, turnabout

offhand ones i definitely watched: the ropers, angie, dukes of hazzard and real people though im sure i caught an episode of delta house.

I was crushed when it was cancelled. Couldn’t believe it wasn’t a smash success.

  • So, as they said, many of those where summer replacement shows. The quality was super low. I liked reading the credits for “stars” never to be seen again, a few b grade movie chestnut actors and the ones who would make some kind of career mark.

Also I watched mostly on a b and w portable with rabbit ears. I wasn't in the city yet but in the NY market without cable and you had to sit through local commercials. My nyc friends had manhattan cable and could get uncle Floyd and a couple of racy shows.
