| tried to watch the first episode tonight, and though i may have been prejudiced by a podcast review i listened to yesterday, the character and the performance from diane kruger seem awful. the aspergery cop is almost a cliche right now. its like they didnt have enough confidence in the story so they had to make the character quirky. but kruger, at least in the little i saw, doesnt have the acting ability to pull it off. whoops. i just reread what jim originally wrote. quirky, check. aspergery, check. ill see if i can slog it out until it gets better but i was 15 minutes in and i turned it off when i realized there was another hour and 15 to go.
