it pales in comparison to the original. might end up watching it anyway though the reviews are generally unfavorable. they did the bizarre thing and cast the same british actor, david tennant, in the lead role but in this case playing an american. not only is he on this series but he has returned for a second season of the british version. kind of takes me out of it from the get go, that and that despite claiming this would have an alternate ending, the beginning seems eerily similar but less interesting.
