saw it in the theaters in '79. holds up pretty well. they could have made the cutters v. frat boys much more melodramatic and over the top or focused on the forbidden love angle. had enough 70s filmmaking sensibility left in its dna before teen movies turned to porkys bawdiness or hughesian upper middle class schmaltzy angst.
