the last of us is the latest entrant into the post apocalyptic post pandemic zombie sweepstakes. i guess that makes it more a high brow walking dead than something more thoughtful like station eleven which stuck to a real world killer virus motif. i guess if you buy into the characters journey, more figuratively than literally you will enjoy it as you can only go so far with killing zombies.
