TideSDK looks incredible: "Create multi-platform desktop apps with HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript" (and PHP, Python, or Ruby.) Can't wait to dig into this.

I see you've joined me in the update-the-blog-once-a-year school...

Think I might get back into it. Some interesting things coming for the site next year.

Looking forward to more info on that. I'll have to update my programming skills since flash is almost dead to me and the video work won't last forever.

I linked to it a long time ago, but with the caveat that I've never used it I still think you should check out Hype. Unfortunately the authoring tool only runs on Mac OS X (but outputs animations that can be seen in any browser on the web.) Not sure what you run. $50, but there is a free 14 day trial. No doubt not as powerful as flash, but pretty cool to output fully compliant HTML, CSS, and Javascript animations.

Unfortunately all my latest equipment purchases have been PC's.

I know a number of people in motion picture post production - die hard mac users - who believe they will be switching over to PC soon. Are you making that switch too?
