FWIW, this may be my favorite post so far (although I always enjoy each one.) I love the idea that all the kids are characters in a coma induced dream. Very Phil K. Dick.
Thanks for the feedback. Yeah, that would be interesting, to do a Scanner Darkly like treatment of this scene. And if I made the jump into fiction, I could tell so many more stories, that currently my conscience will not let me tell.
