On October 11, 2002 Senator Diane Feinstein voted to give Bush a blank check in Iraq. To be fair, sometimes Di Fi shows some spine, such as in her speech entitled The New Bush Doctrine: The Wrong Path to Our Nation's Security? It's a pity that this speech, and her realization of the true nature of the Bush doctrine, came four months after the Invasion Resolution was passed.
A recent speech, The Danger of U.S. Nuclear Weapons Development, gives further hope that she will resist unilateralism. She fearlessly attacks the Bush agenda with strong words, such as, "So, it is time to raise the warning flags."
Is this is the best hellfire and damnation she can muster? "Warning flags"?
