I'm in Houston for Father's Day. He's been in care for about a month now -- a week in the hospital and three weeks in a nursing home. He's hoping to move back home in about a week. He's gone through a major decline over the last several months.
I got Windows Media Center working on Mom's PC. It's actually pretty good. We successfully "tivo'ed" Wheel of Fortune tonight. Can't miss the Wheel!
My mother and I finally connected over Judge Judy.
(and I admit to taking too much glee when explaining the plot of Showtime's OZ: "It's like a soap opera, only set in a men's prison. That guy's just mad because several episodes ago he was sodomized in the prison kitchen.")
