kick ass batch of shipping container pieces in this thread. some familiar, but the freitag shop project was quite a surprise.

The self-consciously arty images from the first link, the "arch' and the 'X' bore me, but once you turn them into something inhabitable they are a thrill to look at. Thanks for all the links you have been providing for the container buildings, really refreshing stuff. (spoiled jerk that I am, I'm going through some Victorian house-hate right now)
the arch and x are also the work of belgian architect/artist luc deleu.. i dont have much use for his monuments either. art fair fluff. but that 'orbino' gallery in the next post is fine as frog's fur.
Thanks, I didn't twig that the mediocre sculptures and that brilliant gallery structure were by the same person.
