And yes we hope it comes in way below 20K, 20K was for the experts to come in and built it like there resort, http://www.treehouses.com/treehouse/treesort/home.html, this included per diem and lodging here, so by using local talent we hope for less....

  • the price was quoted for a southern oregon crew, per diem, lodging, hourly rate, and all materials @ 20K or less.....using a local crew it should be less, the one issue making sure the base is done to the spec's

    • Yes, the base is key. The rest seems to be joists, studs and siding. Compound mitered angles involved, but all in all pretty straight forward.
