Yeah, the Baltic birch is nice, but it's furniture grade plywood so it makes perfect sense for furniture. But using it for finished flooring material must really be expensive, what with labor costs and any waste. What is it, $80 per 4x8 sheet? Floor boards are designed to easily butt up to and notch around floors and doors. One slight miscalculation with plywood and you may have to kiss the sheet goodbye.
