This is the same corner now opened up. The wall on left will house bookshelves.
are you going to be doing all the work yourselves?
Most all except the mudding and maybe the drywall. It's possible that a licenced contractor can get such a deal on sheetrock that it works out to be almost as cheap as doing it ourselves.
We'll be doing all the plumbing and wiring but an electrical engineer will bring the new service and circuit panels.
Friends have offered to pitch in, once we're further along I'll take them up on it.
im going to miss that pink floor.
it's actually a gouged beige with a few reds scattered about. We're looking for cheap floating wood flooring.
