Didn't see it. Heard it cost $100M, and involved 30,000 fireworks.
As an aside, video compression geeks just love opening ceremonies. They're generally sensory overloads that contain lots, and lots of stuff that's very hard to compress. I'd love to have a high def uncompressed dub off the production switcher..
