iPad 2 rumors
Not that it matters, but I think the No home button and SD Slot predictions are wrong. Especially the SD Slot - that's just not where Apple is with the iPad. There's no file system accessible by the user, so how would an SD card work?
There is an SD card option, sort of, now. It's a dongle that hangs of the dock port. It's works horribly. It's only intended for moving photos from a camera's SD card to the photo gallery on the iPad. If there is a slot on the iPad 2, it will probably work the same way.
BTW, I'm using Good Reader (IIRC) as a "file manager" on my iPad.
I like that GoodReader too, even before knowing the file manager trick, which is kind of cool. Seems like high functionality to me. Also like the "read elsewhere" programs/apps, one of which you are referring to elsewhere in its dispute with Apple. I use Instapaper.
