Yeepeeee, the original SPRAYCAN!
Now it is the time to miss Windows for Workgroups.

Thanks--and thanks to Paul for reposting the image on his weblog. I've been working with this program as my primary artmaking tool for 10 years now and this is the first time it occurred to me to throw in a screenshot of the can. Maybe if I'd included cans in all those photorealistic portraits I drew with Paintbrush people wouldn't say, "So you scanned a photo and ran it through a pixelating filter?" Nah, that probably wouldn't work either.

Actually, that gives me an idea. Beware.

I sense a sudden upsurge of interest in Paintbrush, with its famous Magic Eraser (which doesn't work in my copy) and Spraycan. This thread links to my Paintbrush vs Paint exegesis. Either I'm really cool, or the stopped clock that's right twice a day. Or both.
