All-Out Civil War in Iraq: Could It Be a Good Thing? (Asks Fox News)

Fox News: Iraqi Civil War a Good Thing?

From the Cheney Administration's (corporate) Goebbels. Just posting this for posterity. David Asman, the twit with the yellow tie, is the classic dweeb who couldn't get a girlfriend in high school and had to join the chess club and still burns with resentment. Bush, a spoiled but powerful bully, is the perfect person for him to support.

Oh man I HATE those guys who couldn't get a date in High School and were good at chess. What jerks ... um ... yeah.

We used to beat up people like Asman in the chess club.

I dated quite a bit in high school. It's one of my claims to humanity. I like chess but...what high school activity would you pick to peg Asman? Astronomy? Math? 4-H? The debate team? Dungeons and Dragons? Home Ec? Believe me, I considered all those options.

I think this guy didn't play enough games, not too many. I see him spending weekend picketing abortion clinics with his mom.

How like the Democrats--to argue over whether our similes are fair and balanced while the Constitution is being shredded. Alternatives to mine noted, and the Marvel no-prize goes to Thor Johnson for "guilt-ridden jack-off session man." ("Chess club" still stays in the post, though--the key words there are "burns with resentment.")

Listening to something on NPR this morning, I think it was "Forum", a local call-in show -- a caller suggested that since our civil war was good for the the US, that a civil war would be good for Iraq. I think this talking point will gain currency among the chowder heads on the right. Fits the Rumsfeldian "Shit Happens" mind set.

They'll keep spinning it that way as long as no one's feeling it in the US, at the gas pump etc. It will be harder to say it's good for Iraq if Iran annexes half the country.
