Reminds of the trippy character "Zini" that was accompanying a real moderator in the children show "Spass am Dienstag" from the 1980s. It was a yellow computer point with a motion delay shadow behind him and a vocoded voice.
Thanks for the reference, that sounds great. I'd like to try one of these with time-delayed shadow like that.
