These collections are really great--some of my favorite things on the web. I really liked Joel's .zip file of zippers, too--but I prefer things that load right up in the browser.
Artists have stiff competition to make things when there is so much good found stuff (or stuff to be found) on the Web. I can think of few abstract artists doing anything like these sound files.
