  • Toothsavers was great. They redid my upper teeth for half the price of some other Dentist and I get nothing but compliments.

    Happy patient!

  • just remember, that toothsavers is owned by Jerry Lynn, a crappy dentist who has been sued so many times that they had to take his name off and insert toothsavers

    • They did great by me and I have sent many friends over the years and have only heard great comments back about toothsavers!

WARNING!! Do not go to TOOTHSAVERS for dental work. As a former employed dentist who worked there, I urge everyone to stay away!! The owner Dr. Jerry Lynn is the most sued dentist in NYC (see articles in NY Daily News achives). He has no concept of basic dental science at all. If you get any crown or bridgework, then expect to have infected teeth under the crowns within months. the lab on site at the 57th st is FILTHY as well. you will get what you pay for...........

yes, its a familiar lament. i actually like the dentist i eventually found, after having let my teeth rot away, and its only two blocks away, but im a little worried about her training in soviet ukraine before the wall came down. to be fair, she wasnt too confident about the prognosis for this particular tooth when she filled it. but the unfilling has taken another chunk of tooth with it. oh dear. something to take my mind off of the douchebag of the month (and theres always one). mostly my fault though, i suspect, which is just soo unfair.

Stay away. As a fellow dentist who has worked there, it is poor dentistry. Yes cheaper prices, but expect substandard workmanship. How can a case that would cost $30 000 in most offices be done for $10 000 there? Bargain? I don't think so. The office is constantly in the middle of several malpractice lawsuits. If saving a buck is your prime motive for dental work, then Toothsavers is your office. Just accept the consequences.

  • Please DO NOT EVER GO TO TOOTHSAVERS for dental work. I have
had to go to SEVEN dentists to find one who would repair the damage
that they have done to my mouth. I have lost work because of this and
have spent THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS and many health issues trying
to recover from the horrible work that they have done. They do not have
any regrets about this at all ! Dr. Jerry Lynn had lost his license when he
and his dentists began work on my mouth and when asked....he lied and
said that he was retired......when in fact he had so many law suits against
him that he had to give up his llicense. This is a HORRIBLE place.....
the dentist who did most of the work on me did not wear gloves or a mask....
and when I went back a couple of months later to complain about the
work......he was no where to be found. The dentists that I have seen since
could not believe what they saw in my mouth. I have been through HELL !!!
    PLEASE.......do yourself a favor........go anywhere else!

I went there today and they have changed their name to universal dental implants. I was interviewed by an older man named Jerry who said he is the patient coordinator. He became rude when I asked was the consult truly free plus xrays. I was lead through a kitchen where employees were eating and through all these messy looking rooms with molds of teeth to an exam room. a woman did the xray in some back room. I was not examined in a prooper dental chair just in a junk chair. I had to tell the "dentist" to change the latex gloves he was wearing after I saw him touching other objects which were not clean. Jerry said I needed extractions because the loose teeth in my mouth were infected but there is no swelling or sign of infection. Jerry said to fix my teeth would cost $20000 . the experience and office were odd so when i researched it I realize this was Toothsavers. How stupid can a dentist be to touch things and then put his fingers in your mouth/ No proper exam room with a light to see things-- these guys must be on drugs .. never sawe anything like this and I had better not get any bill for the free consultation as i will be writing to NYS licensing.
