"what, its not free? but im a celebrity."
I wanna know what kind of drugs she was stealing.
It was at Saks--she was stealing clothes, and they found pharmaceuticals in her handbag. I think the story would have been truer to the "she's up, now she's down" form of most media reporting if it said "Ryder, star of such movies as Heathers, Alien: Resurrection, and Bram Stoker's Dracula..." Actually, maybe mentioning Little Women is a more subtle version of that.
just another failed product from one of those liberal northern california families. also, the alien movie is the diss. i think she won an academy award for little women. it might suck but it brought home the hardware. also also, i think winona was one of those stars scammed by her stockbroker a couple of years ago. lost over a million dollars. i really think the world owed her some free clothes.
She was nominated for Little Women and The Age of Innocence but lost both times. If she'd been nominated for her role in A:R as a cyborg (with neural wrist-plugs!), I'm sure she would have won Best Supporting Actress.
she was great in night on earth, or the movie was great i forget
A Night on Earth was good, except for the Ryder segment. She plays a toolbelt-wearing cab driver who Hollywood agent-type Gena Rowlands thinks has star potential. Her blue-collar act wasn't very convincing. But as blue-collar cyborg, however...

I hated the movie and I don't like her. I say we move this thread to cinefiles and duke it out there.
