We're trying to get a little dinner together for tonight. Mark is in town. Originally we thought the soon to be departing El Teddys was our spot, but now we're thinking of chinese (GSI uptown branch.) Any thoughts? comments? How about 7:30?

I'd prefer El Teddy's, as a nostalgia move, and because I've been to GSI more recently, but I can do whichever. I suppose bottle policy and bs level favor GSI for lower key post-holiday dining, but quasi-mex and a margarita might get that January thaw going. Either way is fine with me.

Sorry Alex, but it looks like GSI. We'll get to Teddy's for last licks before the end. (For Dave: GSI is Grand Szechun? International which is an amazing Chinese restaurant about as far from your place in Chinatown as we could pick. Very good. Very good on the wallet.) I already have a few bottles, let's see how many are going. Right now we're at 6. Any more takers? Dave? Our res. is for 7:30.
