well, it's starting to work...
I'm going to go out on a limb and say that the discussion features are now beta (i.e., they are basically working, but we'll have to wait and see how they work to know if everything is really O.K.) Feel free to try to crash the scripts. Let me know if anything weird happens.
there was a little problem with editing discussion posts (not main page posts) but I think it is resolved. Hopefully it's all working, because I'm not going to remember how everything works tomorrow, and it'll be harder to fix. This is the main sign of a poor programmer. I'll weed out all these test messages tomorrow.
