Bigwood & Barlow !!

barlow's pretty naive about brazil... kinda reminds me of the (old) european romance with the cowboys and bluesmen of the US.

don't get me wrong, i'm insanely jealous that he got to hang with Gil - and I had an amazing time in Brazil myself.

but there's a history of violence, poverty and oppression there that's still pretty staggering and he seemed to just miss it. next trip, sebastiao salgado?

  • Barlow's naive for sure but I think he hit the nail on the head in terms of the emotional uplift in progress which of course is totally naive. Don't think fer one minute I'm falling into yer camp bj just because I happen to agree with you twice in one day. The fact is you'd rather hang with cowboys (moi) & bluesmen ( moi aussi) more than you would with those ceos that subscribe to stratfor.
Strategic fortnightly? I mean as long as were on the subject, isn't there a fundamental rift between the bj of the boardroom & the bj of the bubble? If not, is there any chance you could find me a job?

there was a big schism but with the help of some smoke and mirrorballs i'm tryin' to heal it

as you know i have a number of openings for cowboy bluesmen and if they have amazonian chops as well even better
