My goal with "Dr. P's Words ..." is to create an exo-toxic meme. As a personality, he's a bit inside the beltway, but breaking Rove, Wolfowitz, etc. into mass culture, revealing the men behind the curtain, should be a goal of anti-neos. Just yesterday David S. Broder advised in an oped that his friend Rove keep a low profile.

The good doc's words made a little headway towards meme-dom today with a link from bartcop E!

God, what's happened to Broder over the years? He really is the dean of whoredom at this point. His column on Rove is pure political playbook; completely lacking in values (or in sympathy with right wing extremists): "I've dined with Goebbels, and I like him, but he really needs to stay in the background if he's going to accomplish his goals..."

Barney Frank is after Wolfie's hide. I don't know if Congressman Frank reads my blog, but I'm going to go ahead and take credit for this one anyway. Via the agonist bulletin board.

The cursor link has generated triple digits on the hit counter already. Golly, gosh, I'm so excited for Dr. Paul; this could be his big break. Go Paaaul, go Paaaul.

341 hits from the two cursor dot org links. Dr. Paul got 300, while the transcript got 41. Says something about the drawing power of humor.

I've been posting links to "Trailers of Mass Destruction" and "Vans of Mass Destruction" in the comments sections of various popular blogs, such as Daily KOS, Whiskey Bar, CalPundit, Eschaton, Agonist, Command Post. And Bartcop E! seems to pick up just about everything I submit via email. And Cursor has generated several hundred hits total for Dr. Paul and Trailers.

Having one of my creations come back at me is a threshold that I"ve been hoping to cross. Today it happened. While posting my latest "probable van of mass destruction" at the agonist message board, someone replied with the first draft of the flaming "trailers of mass destruction" that appeared on the Bartcop E! page.

Now if Jon Stewart will just check the Comedy Central message board.
