3 Farms Festival on the East River. I think MB is involved? Our pal Samoa is playing, and I'm interested in David Johanson's folk act, the Harry Smiths. It ain't Jazzfest, but could be a good time.

MB is coordinating food from local restaurants. I think Alias is doing drum sticks. Weather permitting it should be a good time.

Sounds better than jazzfest.

Indeed. Turkey drumsticks. You are encouraged to make like Henry the V. Or was that VIII? Or...?

I doubt it will be better than jazzfest, but the east river park is a beautiful thing to behold. It hasn't been "fixed up" like the west side. Looking across the river to the domino sugar factory, with the Williamsburg bridge towering overhead, makes for a pretty nice scene. The park has a real industrial urban pastoral waterfront thing going on.

If I'd spelled the name right I might have found a better link for Johansen.
