Oh, I’ll be ready, and you don’t need great weather for birding. Little yellow and black birds are likely goldfinches, though they might be various types of warbler. There are sure to be some breeding birds around, but there should be a good location in the area for shorebirds, which are already heading south in the vanguard of fall migration.
