are those of us who live in Virginia planning to vote?
Well, I for one am planning to vote but if I don't get off my tail and become a registered Virginian in the next week or so I may have to vote absentee Louisiana. Now I don't know if this is an accurate barometer for how the state of V will swing but I went and saw F911 for the first time last night because it came to one of the closest rural towns with a movie theater, Culpeper, and there were only six of us there for the 8:40 showing. And I don't know if this is representative of the confused, self-loathing state of the democratic party but I had a brief discussion before the movie with an 80 year-old local woman, firebrand, playwriter, activist, and she has a 30 dollar bet that Shrub will win in November, even as she donates larger sums to the Democratic Party.
jim, didnt you tell hunt that youd organize a get out the vote pool party? i distinctly recall something about a bonfire for peace, justice and refuse control. i think the lead paint chips will make excellent kindling.
an ABB squirrel roast?. and BTW, ding ding ding, congratulations, "Culpeper" is the word of the day today. gooday
vote early, and often
