tom ran into this once posting about the young turds on the fmu message board. the censorship script changes bad words (even if the are contained within other not bad words like shelly) to what ever they want. for instance hell = flint michigan and fuck = nina totenberg. here are some retards having fun with it.

Is FMU admitting they have a "censorship script"? Who decides what words are "bad"? The word that was changed in my post was "murder." Who writes the scripts, a kindergarten teacher? I assumed it was a bug, not systematic cognitive dissonance and enforced baby talk.

more of a goof. just fun with junk technology - remember how they laughed when it happend.

also fyi, "go to hell" and "tuff titties" are two oft used breckman jokes. no punch line, thats it. tuff titties hasn't made it past the latest fcc sensitive on air language lock down, but go to hell is still going strong. like all (both) breckman jokes its funny every time. every time.

Well, sorry to be a stick-in-the-mud, but they ruined my fan tribute.

i would say that those dont qualify as jokes but as far as breckman is concerned that might be as funny as it gets.

a board vet would (now) know to codify questionable words and even f*ck with it as you see here. its like leaving a whoopy cushion lying around and waiting for a nubie to sit on it. mtv calls it getting puncked. I wasnt that familiar with it at the time but there it is.

on the outside chance any one else reads this and doesnt know the genius of andy breckman, you can start with his crash and burn approach to radio humor.
