my brother sent me this link. his friend robin named a gene she discovered Taupe (after another gene Beige.) not funny enough to make the article though.
That's hilarious to me, because in my 20's, I couldn't figure out what taupe looked like, so I was constantly presenting coloured objects to my friends and asking: "Is this taupe?", "Is this taupe?", "Is this taupe?", "Is this taupe?", "How about this one, is this taupe?" (I'd just go on and on until I was told to shut up)
Blue jeans are classic, but I wouldn't be caught dead in taupe jeans; they might explode.
