well wrought debate
heres the hitchens piece. i thought the post was written by the blogger and i was impressed by the juice to get nora ephron and fran leibowitz on record. reminds me of richard cohen explaining how unfunny colbert was at the correspondents dinner. hitchens is akin to dennis miller in that he always thinks of himself as the wittiest person in the room whereas everyone else finds him an insufferable bore.
