i saw the top at the garden. it roared. anywhere is a good seat. it was a huge stage spectacle employing a giant car crusher and moving sidewalks and more more more. girls with legs! its hard to accept that all that sound is coming from a (power) trio.

Jazzfest is not the place to see a superband you Really want to see. Unless you dig the press of people up against you. Or, I don't know, they might be doing stadium show in addition to the fairgrounds, some of the bands do, in which case it would not be a totally crappy place to see them.

I might go the second weekend and work in some time for Habitat for Humanity. I don't think D can go. She's got some other travel commitments this year that consume much of her available time.

Debating, might try to tie a mid-April trip to Texas to pick up a few possessions with the French Quarter Fest weekend instead.
