Jersey City tree killers strike again

Forested swath between liberty harbor (Celebration type development) and the concrete plant: gone. The trees were mostly new growth trash trees and bushes sprung up over the last couple decades but they weren't hurting anybody. Bulldozed now. There's hardly a tree left in that vicinity, just acres of fake period townhouses.

Fuck these people.

I know, but you think these people would leave a few sprigs of green as an amenity for the fake townhome dwellers. All the recent development over here is slash, burn, and pave. I feel compelled to reiterate, fuck these people, and add "May all their children be born with monkey heads."

There is tons and tons of crap shit development happening in Toronto. Houses made of mdf and styrofoam with little stupid crenallations tacked onto the cornices as a way of justifying the exorbitant condo fees. I laugh at the bleak little patches of green grass provided here and there so the yappy little trophy dogs will have somewhere to do their little poos.

This Liberty Harbor development is all MDF and styrofoam too. The architects are patting themselves on the back because the townhomes are a "melange of period styles" made to look as if the development occurred naturally over time. They actually left two brick structures standing in a block long row of "mock '20s" fake brick structures. I should say "had to leave" because what's left of our historic law wouldn't let them destroy them. I'm sure they groused and made the best of it.
