Slide show software for the Mac? I want to do a simple slide show with a bunch of JPEGs. Are there any "comes with" apps that I'm just not seeing? Or is there one I should buy?
iPhoto will do it. You can make an 'Album' which is something like a playlist in iTunes except with pictures (File menu -> New Album) Then with the Album selected in the sidebar, click on the black play button at the bottom of the left sidebar. You'll get a window with some options (random or sequential, type of transition, background music from your iTunes collection on or off, etc...)
To get photos into iPhoto just drag them onto the iPhoto icon in your dock.
D'oh! iPhoto has a slideshow feature.
