Apparently this is a false claim but I can't see what it would hurt to register on the do not call list. I did it after I hooked up this NC landline phone and although the phone hasn't worked for weeks and I'm don't seem to care, when it did work I was flooded with crap calls so I signed up on the do not call list, both this NC number and my cell number.
