Artist Simon Faithful has been doing weather balloon video projects. He did one with a chair, but I like this one better.
reverse scuba diving, one would need a tank, but its gotta be chilly
ooh yeah, tank. Also, isn't there some problem with lack of air pressure and blood foaming out through your eyeballs?
Supposedly you could survive in outer space with no protection for around 30 seconds, which is a lot longer than I always thought. I don't think we have any actual tests of that theory though.
Kubrick insisted that all science/physics in 2001 must be theoretically possible. After hearing a lot of debate between physicists they decided they could go with the scene where Dave enters the pod bay door without a helmet .

just re-watched the original Witch Mountain movies. they suck pretty bad although the first one has a helicopter flying upside down and the second one has a Lalo Schifren soundtrack.
