When I saw the location (Ocean Beach), I thought I might have lived near that bar. But it's Ocean Beach SD, not Ocean Beach SF.
On a tangential note, there was a gay bar named "Dick's at the Beach" down the street. Neighbors complained about the name, so they changed it to "Dick's Inn".
Last time I pass through, it was a cafe. No Dick's.
i heard it became a magic venue called tricky dicks then a lesbian bar, dick soup.
