I don't think I ever knew about Michaelmas, but it's a big deal at Lucy, Alice and Ryley's school. Picnic today.
I guess it's good that the Christian component keeps Steiner’s syncretic theosophy respectable (at least as much as Mormonism.) For purposes of the federal government, note: "at that time harvest was over, and the bailiff or reeve of the manor would be making out the accounts for the year" which is why October 1st is the beginning of the fiscal year.
