unrelated, the guy that invented electric football lived a town over. now that town is a haven for black performers including chris rock, jay-z, eddie murphy and sean combs.

also apparently guglielmo marconis daughter was a longtime resident of that town, alpine, nj, and strangely enough her great great grandfather and his great grandfather was john jameson, creator of jameson whiskey.

no, noone that sounds that jewy was born in closter. they moved to town when i was in junior high school which coincidentally was what made me google my town today. now its the former junior high school, possibly bought up by koreans. the town is now 31% asian with the fifth largest korean population (by percentage of residents, 22) in the country. ** well, it says he was born there but i find that hard to believe. i definitely remember her as a new student.

Well, I guess he lived the good life on double-knit mulah. And God bless woody Allen's casting agent.

heres a thread with dribs and drabs of info including the fact that he was on sullivan the night the beatles were first on. also, some reminiscences of the house in closter which was one of the nicer ones at the time down the end of an unnamed street.
