A while back I sent my sister in France a book via the French Amazon site. I don’t read French, but it was cheaper than international shipping from the US site, and with some use of a translation engine, not too hard. Ever since then, I get tons of French spam. I have no idea what they’re trying to sell me, but it makes me feel cosmopolitan.
