the tyranny of the arched floor lamp is over. had been a sagging nuiscance for years but stuck with it. pulled it out to try and stiffen its resolve but the base wasnt having it. the plastic and the concrete within keeping it weighted complete fell apart so i rid myself of it post haste but not before slightly scratching the parquet flooring. how best to cover that up? its very hard to notice like a couple of inches long and the width of a ball point pen nib, but considering how old this flooring probably is its in remarkably good shape and id like to not notice it.

Touch it up.  Don’t want to lose your deposit. Or put a potted plant over it or both.
